Is there any way to get it in the EU (or US), or is taking it in your luggage the only way ?

I've also seen it occasionally in packies on Boston's south shore in heavily Portuguese neighborhoods, but I assume it just came in somebody's luggage as you mentioned (it still had the Indian tax stamp on it). If you're in NYC you might give Edison a shot?
