- simonblack 3y agoApple's iPhones are not the be-all and end-all of phones. They are starting to lag behind other major brands. They are not magically destined to stay 'on top'. (And of course, the iPhones are only 'on top' in that 'Western' niche-market of one-eighth of the World's population.) Other phones have been 'on top' in the past. Remember Nokia? Remember Windows Phones? Even remember Blackberry? Market leaders only remain if they are out and out better than anything else. "You are only as good as your latest product".
