what negativity in this thread! this is the only tangible, hopeful HSR project in the country right now
- _3u10 2y agoIts usefulness is rivaled only by HS2. Honestly LA to LV is probably not bad it’s the right distance, it’s mostly desert so most of the HS2 issues will be avoided. If it’s actually high speed eg 200mph+ then I could see it working. Edit: oh it’s 100mph, and it stops 37 miles outside of LA. Should rename it HS3
- andbberger 2y agoit is bonafide high-speed rail. average speed is obviously lower.
