Have any proof for this claim?
How do you know it doesn't fail to publish a page when there's no video available?
^ Just curious where you got the info. Beyond that:
Being publicly available on YouTube would still mean it is allowed to be summarized by another person. This restriction you speak of has never existed in any copyright law.
- mattl 2y agoI tried it with a video I have set to not allow embedding. Summary just like any other video but just the standard box when embedding is disabled. You should try it for yourself with one of your own YouTube videos from your own channel.
- _akhe 2y agoCan you link it? I'm just curious how it presents it. I agree it should share the source even if they can't create the embed.
- mattl 2y agoI don’t have the link anymore. I’m on another machine now so don’t have access to the browser history. But there’s lots of no embed videos on YouTube. You can also just try it with one of your own videos.
