- persolb 2y agoExactly this. Facebook makes money by network effects. They are incentivized to grow network engagement, more than they are to make direct money off new network members.
- bee_rider 2y agoWhich, I guess, makes sense. I think it is absolutely nuts that people would buy an OS developed by an ad company that relies on user profiling for their whole business. But then again it works for Google.
