- submeta 2y agoThat's a good one :) So I'm a non-typical hacker, because I use paredit in Emacs so I don't have any issues with parentheses :D

- maleldil 2y agoThe joke misses the mark because Lisp code usually coalesces all the parentheses in the same line at the end of the block. It does make sense for Ruby, though.
- lelanthran 2y agoInterestingly enough, this type of response ("Lisp parentheses isn't indented like that") was the most usual type of response. Apparently joke-killers aren't a new thing :-)
