Attention, moral skill, and algorithmic recommendation
- 082349872349872 2y agoI'm not willing to write an entire paper about it, but anecdotally: (a) the amount of time I spend to select a few percent out of my RSS feeds is minuscule compared to the time I spend reading and ruminating over what I did select, and (b) getting a vague idea of all the things other people are interested in but I am not is more valuable to me than the time spent in selection.
