Why do you need Uber or Lyft notifications? You could gasp leave the app open and otherwise be present in the world while waiting for a ride instead of opening some other doomscrolling app.
- pavel_lishin 3y agoHow are you more present in the world if you've got the app open and are watching it for information, instead of waiting for a quiet "ding" or a vibration in your pocket?
- amluto 3y agoBy checking what the car you’re waiting for looks like and its license plate number and then watching for cars. I can’t remember the last time I hadn’t already found my ride by the time the phone noticed it was there.
