- ggm 3y agoEconomically deflationary but also meaningless at the scale of a national economy. I have seen arguments the value cannot be destroyed this way, the bank can reasonably issue replacements. It was art.
- nabla9 3y agoValue of currency increases when you withdraw it from circulation, so obliviously value is not destroyed.
