I had a musician friend in college who would smoke a joint with us and immediately retreat into his room, put on headphones and just listen to music for two hours. Surprisingly, I (audiophile but not that much of a musician) never found it too pleasant. My other friend an I would always fire up the Xbox, put on Forza (a car racing game) and go drifting on Fujimi Kaido (a fictional Japanese mountain route). I always found that absolutely mesmerizing, a weird combination of flow, speed and relaxation.
