- flomo 2y agoVery nice looking in my american eyes
- kivle 2y agoNice for driving, but not for walking. Look how much pedestrian info is simply not rendered in my home area. Tons of stairs and walkways are not visible: https://zelonewolf.github.io/openstreetmap-americana/#map=16.61/58.972561/5.728156 https://zelonewolf.github.io/openstreetmap-americana/#map=16... https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=17/58.97226/5.72803&layers=PN https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=17/58.97226/5.72803&layer...
- maxerickson 2y agoIt's not a complete style, the early work focused on highway shields that resemble highway signing (a traditional driving map feature which is more difficult than it might sound when you start considering places where many routes are concurrent, or the large number of posted highway systems).
- habi 2y agoSure, Americana is car-focused. Mapy.cz is also OSM based and more focused on pedestrians: https://en.mapy.cz/zakladni?source=osm&id=1056429822&ds=1&x=5.7296167&y=58.9706683&z=18 https://en.mapy.cz/zakladni?source=osm&id=1056429822&ds=1&x=...
