  Yes, Dickens would seem to describe how the school views the children. "Please, sir, I want some more" is all that they should be saying.

    Slightly off topic, but Dickens is a fantastic writer, I haven't read anyone as good as him (or even close) at writing engaging stories. Shakespeare is better with languages, but Dickens writes better. And if you want to read him, gutenberg has him (http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/730 http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/730). Highly recommended.
