Interesting and well-written article, and I appreciate the distinction between legibility in the context of _UI_ vs that of _text_. That said, while the typographic pedant in me enjoyed this, the semantic pedant very much also in me very nearly screamed at not one, but two, uses of “extend” where “extent” should be.
