Zuckerberg states during the interview that once the ai reaches a certain level of capability they will stop releasing weights - i.e. they are going the "OpenAI" route: this is just trying to get ahead of the competition, it's a sound strategy when you're behind to leverage open source. I see no reason to be optimistic about this organization, the open source community should use this an abandon them ASAP.
