Could you explain his answer?
- n4r9 2y agoMy guess: Dennett took it to mean that his exposition wasn't clear enough to the layman first time round and was disappointed by this. C.f. the famous quote attributed to Einstein "If you can't explain it to a six-year-old, you don't understand it yourself.". (Does anyone know if he actually said anything like that?)

- AlbertCory 2y agoThat's what I meant: there was so much to think about that I'd gain a whole lot by reading it again. What he meant: well, he's dead now, isn't he?
