My partner used to not be covered under my health care. When we paid cash for his appointments it was LESS than it is now with insurance copays. This is on top of a huge monthly payment. A recent ER visit with my health insurance cost more than the one my roommate did without it. We absolutely need socialized health care in this country. Almost nothing could be worse than the current system.
