- RecycledEle 2y agoThis happened when the US built cities. Almost all downtowns sank into the ground to the point the buildings had to be adjusted. Sadly, nobody remembers what happened in their grandparents and great-grandparents lives, so hucksters continue to get away with proclamations of dire dread.
