Finances: Do them monthly. On the first work day of each month, I do my finances. I collect all the receipts, bank account statements etc and send them to my accountant. If there's any problem, he lets me know right away. It takes me an hour or two, but it's important I don't procrastinate on this. When I was just starting out, I did that stuff at the end of the year, and it was extremely much work, trying to hunt down receipts for payments made a year ago. Now it's just this thing I do regularly, and at the end of the year it's all done already.
