I am curious if that medical plan has done cost benefit analysis of impact of ozempic etc will have on downstream diabetes and heart disease costs for people who would otherwise be morbidly obese.
- silverquiet 3y agoMixing market economics and human morbidity and mortality is always sort of a macabre humor. I believe the most profitable (aka the best) customer of a private insurer would be someone who pays premiums all their life and then drops dead of a heart attack.
