Meta AI
- welder 3y ago> Meta AI isn't available yet in your country
- welder 3y agoAfter logging onto VPN from the USA: > - You > Is ChatGPT smarter than you? > - Meta AI > We're different types of AI models, so it's not exactly a question of "smarter." I'm an AI assistant with a focus on generating human-like text responses, while ChatGPT is a specific type of AI model called a large language model (LLM). LLMs like ChatGPT are trained on vast amounts of text data and are great at generating text, answering questions, and even creating stories or code! I'm designed to be more conversational and helpful, providing information and answering questions within a conversation. I'm constantly learning and improving, so there are many things I can do well, but I may not always be able to generate text or answer questions in the exact same way as ChatGPT. So, we're both useful in different ways, and it's great that there are many different types of AI models and assistants available to help with different tasks!
- brap 3y agoIt’s almost like all of these LLMs are trained to always give you bullshit instead of a straight answer. The content:words ratio keeps getting worse. Maybe the winner in this space will be the one going in the opposite direction. Deliver answers as concisely as possible instead of being a smartass.
- eminence32 3y agoI appreciate that you can try this without signing up for a Facebook account
- ethbr1 3y agoI'm sure that bug will be fixed soon.
- skrebbel 3y agoGotta sign up for Mullvad tho
- ein0p 3y agoYeah, there's no way I'm signing up to FB just to try this. The output is surprisingly good so far. And it's fast, and feels lightweight. If someone from Meta is reading this, do please add the stylesheet to "print to PDF". I suggested it to my friends at OpenAI but the suggestion got ignored. This would be a rather obviously useful feature.

- tracyhenry 3y agoLlama 3 is the open source model while this is a product offering competing w/ ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. Not a dupe imo.
- ChrisArchitect 3y agonot sure what you're talking about, this is just the playground/demo site for the new Llama 3. The discussion is over there.
