I hope this is being done to capture the idea and squash it so no one else does it. Absolutely ruinous, and I'd dump my device/tv immediately with that nonsense. When I hit pause, I not only want to pause the action, I want silence, and much of the time, I am trying to look at the paused image more closely — it is even annoying when the software pops-up the timeline and a bunch of other viewing options that I don't want — wiping it out for a bunch of ads is hard unacceptable.
How do the idiot execs not know this?
- thfuran 3y agoWhat makes you think they don't know why you pause things? They're looking to get paid for not giving it to you.
- toss1 3y agoYa, typing too quickly; either they don't know it, or they know it and don't care, and think that the loss of people like me never buying their entire system (& my primary device for that purpose is currently a Roku, but I SAF wouldn't 'upgrade' to that) so they get no money of any kind will be outweighed by the people who have surrendered and won't be watching the ads anyway, and they're happy to get paid to show ads to empty rooms by idiot marketing execs who don't know any better
- cyanydeez 3y agoYsll noy paying.attentiom' What.matters is.who will pyt upt with it and if.thatll be worth more. If.your 1$ boner.pills can be sold for $1000 and you sell enought on net, it doesnt maggdr if you lose 1000s of customets.
