Step #1: Think of cool new invention.
Step #2: Generate CGI images of invention.
Step #3: Promote product on social media.
Step #4: Get as much funding as possible.
Step #5: Create actual proof of concept.
Note that it's not until step #5 that you actually find out if the thing works or not. I'm very skeptical when all they have to show is CGI images...
