- dorkwood 3y ago> "Elon has not been paid for any of his work for Tesla for the past six years...," Board Chairperson Robyn Denholm wrote in a letter included in the regulatory filing. "That strikes us — and the many stockholders from whom we already have heard — as fundamentally unfair." Invoking "fairness" seems like a risky play, if you're trying to argue that one single person should receive $56 billion.
- wmf 3y agoElon should resign from Tesla until they pay him (or not). If the stock price drops, shareholders will pay anything to get him back. If it doesn't drop then they don't need him.
- BoiledCabbage 3y agoSo the board which includes his brother is arguing he needs to be paid this large amount and it's urgent that it's done and voted before this this quarter's financials come out which is imminent. And I'm supposed to believe it's not because things are tanking and he wants to extract money from the company before it's evident in the financials? And all of this on top of the firing of thousands and a claim to get leaner and meaner by giving himself an large payment? How do people still go for this?
