China continues to subsidize deadly fentanyl exports
- RecycledEle 3y agoChina remembers the Opium Wars and wants to get even. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
- isubkhankulov 3y agoI can’t help but think that this is all payback to the collective west for the Opium wars of the 19th century. If so, China won’t stop, even if the US govt asks nicely. The question is: what will the US do about it?
- sapling-ginger 3y agoWhat, you want the largest exporter of bombs, missiles, and rockets in the world to scold another country for exporting a few tonnes of funny powder?
- lazyeye 3y agoWhat does it say about a govt that is so passive and impotent in response to what is arguably an act of war on its own citizens? What the hell is going on in Washington?
- bitxbitxbitcoin 3y agoKnown as the Reverse Opium War theory.

- mrjin 3y agoBlaming China will not resolve an US problem. People can get popped when carrying narcotics, as little as 50g heroin for example, in or out of China without proper paper works. So large amount of fentanyl must get into US through proper channel with proper documents, or it simply cannot get out of China. I don't see how China can be held responsible for something circulating in US.
