I was amazed at those "battery swap" stations that popped all over china for motorcycles. That's a great solution for electric cars: Install "battery swap" walls on each gas station, and make cars allowing said battery swap (if the car "floor" is full of batteries, make it so that it is split in "packs" that can be pulled from the side to be swapped)
