Charles Stross predicted a lot of this in his 2011 novel, Rule 34. He actually extended it to what happens when the corner store can do advanced 3d printing. CSAM, Snuff, Deepfake porn, 3D printed child sex dolls... the floodgates on this stuff have just opened and LEOs are ill equipped to deal with any of it. There will need to be specialized teams dedicated to just sorting through it. Shit, the NY Times just had an article on teenagers creating deepfake porn of their underage classmates. There's no end in sight it only gets worse from here.
