Nuclear makes for square supply curves which are kind of hard to handle, especially if you have a large percentage of your supply from a few reactors like they do in Finland.

- Qwertious 3y agoYes, but reducing power output won't reduce the plant's mortgage payments.
- oneshtein 3y agoIt will take hours, at least. Nuclear is sloooooooooow. You can make it hot very quickly, but it will take hours to days to cool down. Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant finally turned cold this month, 2 years after start of full scale Russian invasion and occupation of the plant.
