Truly an amazing band, hearing about Parker's death hit me hard. I've been a fan for over 20 years.
Here's the Rick Beato video mentioned elsewhere which is a nice listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5Mj4Nv_ip0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5Mj4Nv_ip0.
One of my favorites is _Over the Ocean_, from their '96 album The Curtain Hits the Cast. Simple and staggeringly beautiful - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_3q0_m7JCY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_3q0_m7JCY
- UncleOxidant 2y agoThey have so many great songs. That's what I find so compelling about Low. Usually on an album I take a liking to 1 or 2 songs and the rest are kind of meh. With a Low album it's kind of the other way around. There might be 2 'meh' songs on an album and the rest are just amazing. Here's another really good one of their first album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaSVkb_XLt4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaSVkb_XLt4 (Lullaby) (wish those first couple of albums were still available)
