I'm pretty sure this was just trolling, but, I'm 100% ok with nurses buying "half million dollar homes". That's just what a house costs in most places a nurse would live. MDs may be overpaid and there are a lot of problems with how residency works in the US (both in terms of too-few residents and abusive treatment of the few who get in) but nurses are absolutely not overpaid for the work they do.
