How do you plan on cracking down on publicly-available data?
- ceejayoz 3y ago"No ordering pizza"? Staff a franchise with cleared employees in the Pentagon?
- paulmd 3y agodo you want godfather's pizza? that's how you get godfather's pizza
- krapp 3y agoI read that the Pentagon does have its own in-house franchises explicitly for that reason. I have to assume the signaling in this case is intentional.
- reducesuffering 3y agoI did not have Pentagon intentionally clogs up nearby Papa John's Pizzeria to signal to the Middle East that it is dead serious on my 2024 Bingo card.
- bombcar 3y agoNo, Papa John's is signaling you're wanting to seem super serious, but everyone in the know knows it's just for show. When it's Dominos then you know you're fucked.
- HeyLaughingBoy 3y agoThat's not answering my question! You're changing the scenario from public data to private data.
- ceejayoz 3y ago“Stop contributing to the public data” is a perfectly reasonable way of avoiding it.
- JohnBooty 3y agoI mean, they do kinda do that. Currently there seems to be an Au Bon Pain, a Taco Bell, a CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks, etc. https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2001-aug-03-mn-30116-story.html https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2001-aug-03-mn-30116... Not sure if the employees are cleared, but they are at least screened (and one would assume... monitored?) https://news.clearancejobs.com/2022/09/26/top-secret-taco-bell-do-pentagon-fast-food-jobs-require-a-security-clearance/ https://news.clearancejobs.com/2022/09/26/top-secret-taco-be... https://maps.app.goo.gl/nyqYWQ7WBDArvdzS9 https://maps.app.goo.gl/nyqYWQ7WBDArvdzS9 However, if the hours on Google Maps can be believed, it seems like all of the Pentagon shops close at 5PM eastern. So if you want food after 5PM, perhaps you're still ordering delivery?
