Samsung's Texas plant will produce 2nm chips by 2026
- gus_massa 3y agoIIRC "2nm" is just a marketing term and does not mean that anything has 2nm. How small are the chip features?
- granter 3y agoNotably, this is two years ahead of TSMC's Arizona plant, which will begin production in 2028. The fab will cost $40bn, $6.4bn of which is direct funding from the Chips Act.
