Mini rant. I don’t know why people need to mess with stuff like this. Like the change of ifcfg-files. [0] Also, forcing nmcli to control network interfaces. CentOS 7 is truly great. Sad day when it’s EOL. Sometime it seems like stuff is changed for the hell of it rather than for good reasons.
