There is already too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere for use to not exceed temperature targets. We need carbon capture.
And carbon capture in the oceans promises to be much more cost effective.
- sanderjd 2y agoYep! I'm optimistic that we're going to (painstakingly, with a lot of work) get to net-neutral emissions over the coming decades. But then I believe we'll almost certainly want to go net-negative for some period of time. And we'll need to do a bunch of research and experimentation into carbon removal techniques to figure out how to do that. The earlier we start doing that, the better!
