Absolutely and electric cars and heat pumps powered by renewables are great but it's nice to have when we still want to have air travel or meat while maintaining net zero.
- dheera 3y agoI recently moved into an apartment that has a heat pump. I save $50 on my electric bill per month but I also pay $1000/month more in rent because "woo wah it's new and fancy and modern" As long as environmental friendliness is a luxury, nothing is going to happen. This is the dynamic that needs to be disrupted, somehow.
