- cookiengineer 2y agoThe next war will be a digital one, and it's already happening. "One began to hear it said that World War I was the chemists' war, World War II was the physicists' war, World War III (may it never come) will be the mathematicians' war."
- hulitu 2y agoThe WWIV will be fought with stones.
- psychoslave 2y agoI have a wonderful proof by mathematical induction for this, but it wouldn’t hold in the margin of an HN comment.
- atlintots 2y agomathematicians?
- personomas 2y agoThis guys on drugs.

- fragmede 2y agowhat do you mean "here comes"? we're already in it, are you paying attention?
- personomas 2y agoYeah, I wouldn't necessarily call it a WW yet. But I don't disagree with you per se either. You have to realize, I'm talking to those people who think WW3 is a conspiracy theory and will never happen (crazy European socialists above all).

- personomas 2y agoNo, no, no. Everything has been outsourced because taxes and bureaucracy have gone through the roof. We need to reduce taxes. One we can do that is by getting rid of medicare (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=40028963 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=40028963). We need to move away from socialism and towards more free-market and liberals policies. Socialism is the greatest source of our problems.
- archagon 2y agoA world war with nuclear weapons cannot be prepared for.
- hulitu 2y agoWhy not ? Put a white bedsheet on you head and head quietly to the local cemetery. /s
