It might take me or you a half second to figure out whats happening, but software should be able to immediately detect that a car is stopped in front of you. This shouldnt be a problem at all with a LiDAR based system, but I can see how a camera system might have trouble with it (possibly indicating that LiDAR should still be used for at least the near future)
