It's you managers who have a poor work ethic. They are unable or unwilling to distinguish between work and rest, between what you are paid to do and what you are not. I'm glad that this sort of thing has never been a problem in my working life here in Norway. And I feel sympathy for those in the US for whom it seems to be a continual problem
