Study suggests 'superbugs' are being passed from pets to owners
- hunglee2 3y agobe interesting to track the 'pet ownership rate' per capita over time. Not clear if we're having more or less pets - does anyone have any data for this?

- chiefalchemist 3y agoPump the world full of needless(1) ABX and... blame the cats and dogs. On the other hand, good bacteria are passed from pet to person. fwiw, my theory is its one of the reasons pet owners live longer. That is, aside from the (emotional) companionship, the pet-sources bacteria strengthen the gut / immune system. (1) Yes, not always but often enough, especially at the scale often enough happens.
