Devin AI-first AI software engineer is a big lie?
- xkcd1963 2y agoRecently my client told me "try Devin to work faster" and even though I provided countless examples as to why AI does not increase my productivity (to me it's a google-search-bin) my client is still hyped.

- adamnemecek 2y ago4 upvotes in like 5 minutes is actually a lot. Particularly on a Friday night, close to midnight.
- kuboble 2y agoLooking at the past submissions it seems to be weighted by how fast it accumulates those up votes. It's already at 10 when I wrote this reply and likely more when I click 'reply'.
- supriyo-biswas 2y agoI've often suspected that there are many voting rings on here, another time a Youtube video downloader hit the front page. I did inform the mods about the issue but they said that there wasn't any suspicious voting on that topic, though I do find that conclusion somewhat questionable since it's easy to create loads of accounts on here.
- muragekibicho 2y agoI won't be surprised if moderator bias is in play. I saw 15 upvotes in 15 minutes. This post is planted at 1st position.

- jasonjmcghee 2y agoI hope this kind of content is not going to become normal for front page. A generated summary of a YouTube video? Are people just upvoting the headline? Also breaks guidelines. > Please submit the original source. If a post reports on something found on another site, submit the latter. - mawadev 2y agoI work with people who cheer on me getting replaced by ai and praising me for literally keeping the project alive in the same sentence. I need a new job.
