I remember in the past you had to show id at the gate as well as at security. The way they do it now I think you can show up with 2 tickets, one in your name for getting through security and another under a fake name for where you actually want to go. Pop into a bathroom behind security, do a costume change to confuse security camera forensics after the fact, and you get away clean. And if you somehow manage to get your real name boarding pass scanned but not get on the plane (I don't have a foolproof way to do this, but it's probably possible with some luck) then they will spend a lot of time looking for you at the destination you never went to.
