The strategy of accusing the prosecutor works because our system is so corrupt that almost every single cop, lawyer, and judge commits multiple felonies every hour.
I used their strategy for years before I learned its downside. You can not take down a true sociopath with it. A true sociopath will murder the people who accuse him, or, if he can not get to them, he will murder their witnesses.
Eventually, everyone who feels guilty when caught has left The System and only the worst of the worst hold power.
This happened where I live in Texas. My correct accusations against mildly corrupt public officials was a major factor i n removing those who had souls from office.
I suggest you accept some minor BS fines rather than transform all federal law enforcement into the ATF.
- lazide 3y agoThanks for the analysis. I’m tempted to call it the ‘Al Franken’ effect, albeit that is soft pedaling it a lot eh?
- mistrial9 3y agoJimmy Carter also comes to mind
- metalcrow 3y agoDoes that tract also eventually lead towards increasing corruption in the long run, though? By not punishing corruption, then it attracts those sociopaths who want to do bad deeds and get away with it. They know no one is going to fight back for exactly those reasons you gave.
