Sophia and I were classmates at RPI. She was brilliant and funny and she carried herself with a refined lightness and dignity that is rarely seen these days, like gravity didn't pull on her as hard as the rest of us. I am crushed to hear of her passing at such a young age. Rest in peace, Sophia.
