YC is not a university, they can get people they like in whenever they want.
- datascienced 3y agoWhy can’t a university do that too?
- AA-BA-94-2A-56 3y agoBecause a university has an academic calendar that they adhere to?
- datascienced 3y agoI am sure they could let people in late to a course if that student can find a way to catch up.
- AA-BA-94-2A-56 3y agoThis is built in. My university had an academic census date. After that date, you are unable to take on or drop any courses. This is probably the same for other universities.
