The headline said 'AI'.
The article said 'AI', and went on to say "there's no broad consensus ... on the exact definition of AGI."
You said 'AI'.
But I also forgot to mention that:
- Tesla has large-scale deployment of industrial robots;
- Tesla has R&D for humanoid robots;
- X/Twitter has the Grok LLM chatbot;
- Musk co-founded/funded OpenAI.
So even if you don't agree with him, he is in a good position to evaluate current efforts across the board.
You and the other posts here, just dismissed the article with flippant reddit snark, probably because you don't like Elon or his politics.
- labrador 3y agoI haven't read the other comments or speak for any group. Musk says a lot of things that turn out not to be true. I don't trust him. I would trust him more if he told us where he gets his informatino. Also, if an AI smarter than any human is not an AGI then what is it? Humans are the gold standard AGI or am I wrong?
