I don’t know, their hardware is still pretty amazing — IMHO higher build quality and value for money than ever before (except RAM upgrade prices).
I agree on the software. There are 1000s of tiny problems scattered across all their Mac OS apps, and it leaves a sour taste (looking at you Apple Music).
- skhunted 3y agoMy experience with air pods, as an anecdotal example, is that it’s a great product if you can get it to charge. I’ve had 3 pairs and they all had the same problem. One bud would be out of charge and the other fully charged. Sometimes neither bud would charge and getting them to charge was a pain. The connectors for charging are too small. I won’t buy their stuff accessories again. Another example is the idiotic charging of their mouse.
- foobarbecue 3y agoYeah I've had a pair of Jabra earbuds for a few years and they've been great. Giant charge contacts compared to air pods.
