Plato Document Reader for Kobo E-Readers
- rbanffy 3y agoFor a second I thought it was somewhat related to the venerable PLATO system (the one with plasma screens and CDC supercomputers).
- majora2007 3y agoDoes this support OPDS by any chance? I'm the creator of Kavita and one of the biggest pain points is lack of OPDS (and page sync afterwards) with the big reading servers (Kavita, Komga, Calibre). Edit: Found the issue, it's under consideration: https://github.com/baskerville/plato/issues/69 https://github.com/baskerville/plato/issues/69

- djfergus 3y agoI don’t see any project history or motivation or comparison to other solutions. Why would I use this over Koreader which: * runs great on potatoes like K3W and Kobo touch C (and any Android or Linux system) * has OPDS support (search and pull books from a calibre server) * uses the same mupdf library
