This has to be bad for Spotify, right? Infinite low cost music generation from multiple competitors challenges Spotify's moat and forces them to develop a similar product and compete away profits from innumerable challengers - or else just go out of business.

- latentsea 3y agoYeah, but likely in different arenas though. I'm not going to be able to go to a live show of AI generated songs for instance. I input the model answers to Question 53 on the TOPIK II exam in Suno and made songs out of it to help me memorize the patterns/structure, which is never the type of content real k-pop groups would have any interest in putting out.
