It's worth noting that Realpage owns their namespake product, but they've also acquired Propertyware and Buildium, two other property management systems, over the years. With that, they have access to quite a lot of rent market data to share to others - more than one my initially expect. I believe there are about eight main pieces of software in the property management software space, but three of them are owned by Realpage. Tangential, but it's a sad industry to integrate into if you're an engineer. Very archaic and dominated. I understand why, but that doesn't make it less depressing to work with.
