- noemit 2y agoI unironically believe everyone should have a spot on the team. Work should be like school, you're allowed to not always succeed. Otherwise you end up regularly firing people like they do at Netflix, and if every company worked that way, you run out of people fast. I understand that a top soccer team works differently than a division 3 local team, but I care more about how the local team works. Elite teams are going to do elite things that are not relevant to most of us. And most startups are NOT elite teams, even if they put pressure on their teams like they are.
