Brazilian law allows content to be removed online for reasons of investigation, hate speech or unbased defamation. This always were the case. And Musk is free to appeal to court if he disagrees with something. However, this would not help the far righ to create a narrative of censoring against free speech, so it's better to just make a lot of noise on Xwitter.
Curiously, Elon Musk has no problems with censorship in India, made at the whims of local president, because in this case it is the far right that are censoring things. "Free speech" becomes a problem when it is the far right that it is being investigated and had accounts suspended, not at the whims of the president, but because of court decision.
